Over my twenty-year career I have owned three different companies - two were successful and eventually sold to other people; one was a great big learning experience. 

As I completed the sale of my third company, I came to the realization that the primary reason I like to start companies is because I LOVE to market them.

I love sharing them with other people, spreading the word, and growing them to new heights. I also happen to love diving deep into analytical data to figure out how to get websites to rank better and pull in better leads. 

For a few months after selling that third business, I couldn't think of any new business I wanted to start.

After pondering it for a few weeks, I came to realize that what I really wanted was to market companies. I just wanted to help other companies experience the same success I had because they had GREAT marketing. 

Not just any companies though.

I want to help small companies run by local people who aren't afraid to work hard and get their hands dirty (just like the companies I used to own).

I also realized that not a lot of founders feel the same way about marketing that I do.

Most business owners and entrepreneurs have a service that they want to provide. They LOVE serving and helping people with their skills, but they are completely uninterested and untrained in marketing that service.

Some business owners even think that if they have a good enough idea, it should just market itself. Or, even worse, that the "Word-Of-Mouth" fairy will help them grow. 

You can grow a company by word of mouth, but by doing that, you leave all the growth of your company entirely to chance. For most business owners, that's not a chance they can afford to take. 

The truth is, in today's day and age, the market is far more competitive across almost all industries than it has ever been. If you want your products or services to spread, they need to be well marketed.

And as a business owner, you're probably wearing too many hats already!   

So, that's why I'm here. I founded Marketing Linchpin because I want to market your company or organization!
